Srixon Hybrid

Srixon Hybrid
Schecter Lee

From Golf Magazine (ClubTest, May 2010)

Category: Better Player Hybrids

We tested: 19° with Mitsubishi Diamana Blue graphite shaft

Company line: "Variable face technology generates higher ball speed and increased distance. It also allows for the redistribution of head weight toward the extreme perimeter for increased M.O.I. Tungsten sole weights in the heel and toe place added mass lower and deeper in the head for increased stability."

OUR TESTERS SAY:
PROS: Shots consistently fly high and straight; the Srixon hybrid digs balls out of rough like a shovel; pretty good forgiveness on off-center hits; cracking sound and feel on solid contact; handsome color scheme and paint job.

CONS: Fails to stand out in any one area; half-club shorter than some testers' current hybrids; typical ball flight is higher, and head size is larger (and longer), than some panelists desire.

$200, graphite; srixon.com
