A 21-footer for bird, uh, fish "My favorite toy is my 21-foot bay boat. I take it out three times a week when I'm home. I've caught some nice, big sailfish and mahi-mahi."

Best clubs "I know my irons work -- last year I finished second in greens in regulation. Now I'm trying to make friends with my driver and putter, so I'll pick them."

"Briny"? "It's my nickname -- my real name's Michael. When I was 3 my mom read The Winds of War, by Herman Wouk, which has a character named Briny. She asked me if I'd rather be called Michael or Briny."

Good turn "My sponsor, Canon, donates money to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. At each tournament we put a photo of a missing child on my bag to raise awareness, along with the phone number for the center, 1-800-THE-LOST."
