A $60 million upgrade on Oahu's north shore keeps golfers from island hoping By SCOTT GUMMER Senior Writer, GOLF MAGAZINE Neither course at Turtle Bay has a postcard hole that plays along the Pacific like Mauna Kea, Mauna Lani or Manele Bay, but teeing off through a gauntlet of ironwoods at the 452-yard 17th and staring down an approach backed by the light blue sky and deep blue ocean, you'd swear you were anywhere but here--just as Turtle Bay promised.
